The four sons not only inherited their father’s passion for horses. They also continued to run the two family businesses. And not only that, they have also succeeded in expanding them.
Today, the Böckmann group has more than 350 employees. At the vehicle manufacturing plant, more than 500,000 trailers have been produced so far and Klaus and Roger Böckmann are responsible for this. And the horse enterprise in Hamstrup is as successful. Gilbert Böckmann and his 15 employees care for the stallion station, the raising of horses and for the sport and training stables.
Both enterprises have one thing in common: A passion for horses. The work ethic established by Anton Böckmann in the sixties is still upheld today. Through the experience of handling their own horses everyday, ideas for many new products, most of which had to do with the needs of horses, were developed and implemented. And nothing will change in the future. The Böckmann family will make sure of that – after all, horses were always family members.
